Superhost is the status Airbnb grants hosts who meet four requirements measured over the previous twelve months: an overall rating of 4.8 or higher, at least 10 completed reservations (or 3 totalling 100 nights), a cancellation rate below 1%, and a reply to more than 90% of new messages within 24 hours. You cannot apply for it or buy it: Airbnb assesses it four times a year, on 1 January, April, July and October, and removes it automatically from any host who stops meeting the bar. That is what makes it a measure of sustained operation rather than a profile badge.
