Most of our Cartagena inventory sits here, and it holds our most striking properties: rooftops with jacuzzis, terraces and sea views. If you want beach without crowds, this is the area.

La Boquilla is the fishing neighbourhood of Cartagena, north of the city: dark grey sand, clear water and moderate surf, noticeably calmer than the beaches downtown or in Bocagrande.
It sits about 15 kilometres from the historic centre, roughly a 20 minute drive, or 20 to 30 minutes by bus and shared van along the Manzanillo del Mar road. For the walled city, Bocagrande or the airport, a taxi or ride app is the practical option, especially at night.

The characteristic outing is the mangroves by kayak, paddleboard or boat with fishermen from the neighbourhood, followed by fish and seafood landed that same day.
