Do you manage short stays, long stays, or both?
Both, and often on the same property depending on the season. Short stays are charged by the night through Airbnb and Booking. Long stays run on a 15 or 28-night minimum depending on the unit, and are what people coming for work, for medical treatment or for several months usually need.
Do you handle mid-term stays, from one to six months?
Yes. That range is exactly what our long-stay properties cover, with a 15 or 28-night minimum depending on the unit and no upper limit. It is the format for someone arriving on a contract of several months, for medical treatment, or to try the city before moving, and it usually gives steadier occupancy than nightly rental, with less turnover and less wear on the apartment.
Which cities and municipalities do you manage in?
Medellín and its metropolitan area, with the largest concentration in Sabaneta, plus Envigado, El Poblado, Laureles, Estadio, La Floresta, Calasanz and Girardota. Outside the Aburrá Valley we manage in Guatapé, in eastern Antioquia, and in Cartagena, including La Boquilla.
Which platforms will my property be listed on?
Airbnb and Booking, plus the MÍA Houses site itself, where every property has its own page and can be booked over WhatsApp. The Airbnb account holds Superhost status, which is what sustains a listing’s position in the platform’s own search.
Who answers when a guest has a problem at midnight?
A local team in Medellín, not a remote call centre or a contact form. That is the part of the job an owner stops doing when they hand over management: the out-of-hours calls, the key that will not turn, the appliance that fails on a Sunday.
