Our inventory here is deliberately uniform. Every apartment has three bedrooms and two baths and sleeps six or seven, with a pool and a work area. If you are coming with family or a group of friends you will not be comparing odd floor plans: the difference between one and another is the view, the floor, and whether you want it by the night or by the month.

What is it like to stay in Sabaneta, and how far is it from Medellín?
Sabaneta is its own municipality at the south of the Aburrá Valley, not a Medellín neighbourhood, and it has had its own metro station on Line A since 2012. From there it is five stops to Poblado — Itagüí, Envigado, Ayurá, Aguacatala and Poblado — so you reach the tourist area without depending on traffic or on finding parking.
It is where MÍA Houses concentrates most of its inventory, and that inventory is deliberately uniform: every apartment has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeps six or seven, and comes with a pool and a workspace. What differs between them is the view, the floor, and whether you want it by the night or by the month.
Both short stays and long stays are available here, the latter with a 15 or 28-night minimum — which is what people coming for work, for medical treatment or for several months usually need.

Getting around from Sabaneta
Sabaneta has its own metro station on Line A (Carrera 49 # 77 sur). It is the second-to-last stop heading south and has been running since 2012, so you reach the rest of the valley without depending on traffic.
From there to Poblado station is five stops: Itagüí, Envigado, Ayurá, Aguacatala and Poblado. The full Line A run, end to end, takes about 42 minutes.
José María Córdova airport is a 40 to 60 minute drive depending on traffic and time of day. Leave a margin: the road to Rionegro clogs at rush hour and on long weekends.
What's around you
- Parque de Sabaneta The main square, and one of the liveliest in the metro area. Restaurants, bars and people sitting out at any hour. In December it puts up Christmas lights and draws visitors from across the valley.
- Iglesia de Santa Ana On the main square. Tuesdays are pilgrimage day: thousands of devotees arrive from across the metro area, so the area fills up and the mood changes completely.
- Centro Comercial Mayorca One of the largest malls in Antioquia at roughly 209,000 m². Shops, cinemas, gym and a kids area, plus an outlet section with well-known brands.
- Sabaneta metro station Line A. Along with La Estrella, one of the newest stations on the system, and it shows in the design.

How many people fit in the Sabaneta apartments?
Six to seven guests. All of them have three bedrooms and two baths, so a group of six sleeps without anyone ending up on the sofa.
Can I rent by the month instead of by the night?
Yes. Some of our Sabaneta apartments are long-stay with a 15 or 28 night minimum, aimed at digital nomads, work relocations and medical stays. The rest are short-stay, by the night.
Do the apartments have internet good enough to work?
All of them. Every Sabaneta apartment has a work area and high-speed internet; several guests book them for exactly that reason.
