Furnished apartments by the night in Medellín, Cartagena and Guatapé

Short stays are most of what we run: accommodation by the night, with no minimum of our own beyond whatever each calendar sets. It is what works for a holiday, a three-day work trip, a weekend with friends or a celebration.

Unlike a hotel, you rent the whole place: equipped kitchen, washer, living room and separate bedrooms. That changes the maths when several people travel together, because the price splits and you do not have to eat out every night.

What is the minimum stay, and what does the price include?

For short stays MÍA Houses sets no minimum of its own: whatever each Airbnb calendar is configured with applies, usually one or two nights, rising in high season and over long weekends. There are 24 properties across Medellín, Cartagena and Guatapé, for groups of 4 to 16 guests.

The price covers the whole place — not a room — with an equipped kitchen, washer, wifi, living room and separate bedrooms. The cleaning fee is charged once per stay and is itemised on Airbnb before you confirm; there is no daily service unless agreed separately.

Every unit carries its RNT registration, required in Colombia for tourist accommodation under Law 300 of 1996, and the number appears on the property page. Booking is confirmed on Airbnb, where the real calendar and the day's price live; nothing is charged from this site, and if you would rather ask first there is someone from the team on WhatsApp.

How it works

Booking happens on Airbnb, where the real calendar and the day's price live. Each property's button goes straight to its listing; nothing is charged from this site.

If you would rather talk first — several dates, a large group, a question about the space — the WhatsApp link puts you in touch with someone on the team, not with a form.

Every unit carries its RNT registration, required in Colombia to offer tourist accommodation under Law 300 of 1996. The number appears on the property page.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum number of nights?

For short stays we set no minimum of our own: whatever each Airbnb calendar is configured with applies, usually one or two nights, and it can rise in high season or over long weekends.

Can you host a large group?

Yes. Several of the houses are built for groups: there are options for 10, 14 and 16 guests in El Poblado, Laureles, Girardota and by the Guatapé reservoir. For those it is worth writing on WhatsApp before booking.

Is cleaning included?

The cleaning fee is charged once per stay and is itemised on Airbnb before you confirm. The apartment is handed over clean and prepared; there is no daily service unless agreed separately.

How is this different from a long stay?

Long stays require a minimum of 15 or 28 nights depending on the unit and are aimed at digital nomads, work relocations and medical treatment. Short stays have no such floor and are paid by the night.
